Southwest Book Design Contest

Attention all book designers, producers, publishers, authors, and editors: the Southwest Book Design & Production Awards for Excellence is accepting entries for its second annual competition.

These awards recognize creativity and quality in book design and distinction in production. The awards help raise the bar and set standards of book excellence throughout the Southwest.
NMBA members and nonmembers may enter the competition. Eligible books:

• must have a 2009-2010 copyright and an ISBN number;
• may be a revised edition with new ISBN, new cover, added or revised text; and
• must be published in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, or West Texas.

Two awards will be given per category: Finalist and Winner. One outstanding book will receive a Best of Show award.

Finalists will be announced in April 2011. Winners will be announced at the NMBA Annual Meeting and Gala, June 2011, in Santa Fe, NM.
