Reserve Space Immediately for Two Library Shows

Here is a very special opportunity to present your book to the nation’s public librarians. We need to hear from you immediately!

The vast Public Library Association Conference and Trade Show will take place in Philadelphia, March 13-17. NMBA this week reserved one of the last and most visible tables available. We are prepared to represent New Mexico publishers and authors at the PLA for the first time ever!

However, to secure NMBA’s presence we must hear from you now. Our reservation is held only until early next week (Jan. 17)!

Essential Details - plus an extra incentive!: Your works will be displayed face out at both the national PLA show and at the New Mexico Library Association Conference (NMLA) in Las Cruces in April for just $65 (additional titles only $40.) Your books will be in our 2012 Showcase Catalog at both events. When you commit immediately, you will be in both fine shows for a single price!

At the PLA in Philadelphia, New Mexico titles will be introduced to thousands of librarians for the first time. (We learned today that the city’s hotels are booked solid for the PLA show.) Robert F Kennedy, Jr. and Betty White will be keynote speakers, plus several top-name authors will draw librarians at nearly 200 seminars and workshops. Generous “trade show only” hours assure that we have maximum visibility.

Right now we need a dozen-plus NMBA members to make their commitment this weekend so that we can meet our PLA booth costs, and will guarantee that New Mexico people and books will be represented at PLA for the first time ever. By the way, Public Library Association is the only major national show we’ve yet to attend for our members, and it may be the very best one.
