On Friday, February 25, NMBA is taking a field trip to Albuquerque!
At 11 AM we’ll visit Starline Printing, one of the leading commercial printers in New Mexico, where sales representative Dan Shaffer will introduce the business and take us on a tour of their facilities.
Following the tour, we’ll proceed to the Flying Star restaurant at 4026 Rio Grande Blvd. NW for lunch.
After lunch, at about 1:30 PM, we’ll go next door to Bookworks at 4022 Rio Grande Boulevard NW. Current owners Wyatt Wegrzyn and Danielle Foster will be there to chat with us and answer questions.
The Starline tour is free, but space is very limited. If you’re interested in learning about a good local printing option for your books, sign up NOW. (If you need to cancel, please let us know ASAP so that someone else can take your place.)
Carpooling is encouraged – please reimburse your driver for your share of gas costs.
Lunch at Flying Star is on your own. If you aren’t planning to go on the Starline tour, you are still welcome to join us for lunch (reservations will be for 12:30) and our visit to Bookworks. However, please NOTIFY us so that we know how large a table to reserve.
The Bookworks visit is also free. (However, patronizing this local independent bookstore is strongly encouraged!)
Call Mary to register: 505-660-6357; or sign up here.
