Mountains & Plains Booksellers Show: MPIBA: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, Is the Submission DEADLINE

You only have a few more days to take advantage of this marketing opportunity! All materials must be in the Early Street office by Friday, Sept. 16.

NMBA has a prime location for this major booksellers show because of our exclusive partnership with the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA). Richard Polese says, "This show lets us display members' books to bookstore buyers during the largest and best book trade event in the region." Wholesalers, distributors, sales reps, and publishers and printers as well as other trade professionals looking for the best also attend this show.

NMBA is compiling a catalog of participating members' books. Industry professionals take these with them to browse through later. To promote your book(s) simply do the following:

Provide 50 copies of your sell-sheet for binding in our catalog. Use 8.5x11 inch white paper (no heavier than 24#), printed on one or both sides, with an eye-catching design that contains

• an image of the book cover(s)
• title
• author
• publisher
• ISBN
• binding (soft/hard)
• page count; prices(s)
• ordering information
• brief author bio

Provide one copy of each book.

Cost: $50 for up to two titles; additional books may be added for $20 each. Make check payable to New Mexico Book Association.

Deliver the book(s), sell-sheets, and check to the NMBA Office at 805 Early Street, Bldg. C, Ste. 205 in Santa Fe or mail to P.O. Box 1285, Santa Fe, NM 87504.

Authors and publishers who plan to attend will need to have a show badge. Attending these trade shows provides great networking opportunities and sometimes even lifelong friendships.
