IBPA Publishing University

Once again, as an IBPA affiliate, NMBA is pleased to announce that NMBA members can apply for a scholarship to IBPA Publishing University 2011.

Scholarship recipients must be:

• members of both the sponsoring affiliate group and IBPA
• actively participating in the publishing process as the publisher or key employee of a publishing company
• in a position to benefit immediately from the scholarship.

The estimated value of the scholarship is $750. It includes:

• Full attendance at the IBPA Publishing University, including all coursework and food functions.
• Attendance to the Benjamin Franklin Awards ceremony
• Networking opportunities with peers and mentors
• Face-to-face access to some of the most respected names in the world of publishing
• Special event bringing together all scholarship recipients
• And so much more!
• Two scholarships are available to this exceptional educational opportunity. All other expenses besides tuition--travel accommodation, etc.--must be covered by the individual. However, NMBA is able to offer a small stipend to assist with these costs. IBPA schedules its university each year to coincide with Book Expo America in New York City. For anyone planning to be at the BEA this year, you won't want to miss this opportunity.
